Life can throw us so many curve balls, that we hardly know which way is up or down. We are sometimes given a set of bars so high we don’t know how to get over them or we limit ourselves by either self-imposing or high expectations from others, that we feel we fall far short of these and then tend to either keep trying harder or eventually just give in and give up.
Is that the only options?

Depression is living in the past or making the past more important than your current situation.
In reality, time doesn’t exist, we only have now. Yes, that is not always what we want to hear or understand but tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. Your life can change in seconds. Being present is keeping you in the here and now and if you fall into either anxiety or depression you take away the living ability of now. Believe it or not, but we only have now. Every second that we starting living in the past or far away future, we miss out on what now can be or become.
I had to learn this the very hard way and this has led me to make really crazy decisions in my life with real life consequences. But today, I am fully aware of where I need to go and what I need to do to assist others in finding their path to fulfilment.
